Client Seminar: Employment Law in the Crisis II

Measures for Reducing Personnel

schoenherr invites you to a variety of informative events on opportunities and risks for undertakings in our neighbouring country, Slovakia. schoenherr’s Slovakian legal experts will discuss in a two-part series – served with a generous breakfast – current themes from Slovakian employment law.

“Employment law in Slovakia” offers an overview of key provisions with practical examples:

  • atypical working relationships as an alternative to the classic employment contract
  • termination of employment relationships, and
  • information about personnel reduction.

The first part offers an overview of possible legal employment measures in the crisis and demonstrates creative solutions for reducing personnel costs: work time accounts, part-time work, limited duration employment contracts, home- or teleworking or sabbaticals. Strategies for maintaining performance capacity and know-how from the work force will also be discussed.

The second seminar, with the theme “Slovakia: Employment Law in the Crisis II – Measures for Reducing Personnel”, will take place on Wednesday, 9 June 2010.

9.00 am - 10:00 am
followed by a Continental Breakfast
