Austria: Schoenherr advises BEWAG on the sale of BKF Das Burgenland Fernsehen GmbH
Schoenherr has advised Austrian energy provider BEWAG on the sale of its shares in the Burgenland cable TV service provider BKF to schau media Wien GesmbH, which is part of the Vienna Bohmann publishing-group.
The Closing of the transaction was inter alia subject to the approval of the Austrian Communications Authority (KommAustria). With the sale of BKF energy provider BEWAG continues its strategy to concentrate on its home market and its home expertise.
The Schoenherr team consisted of Stephan Frotz (partner) and Michaela Wernitznig (attorney) and was supported by Günther Leissler (attorney) regarding the filing for the KommAustria approval.
