Amendments to the Prospectus Directive – Detailed Improvements and Needed Clarifications
The Council of the European Union has adopted a new directive amending the Prospectus Directive 2003/71/EC and the Transparency Directive 2004/109/EC. The new directive comes into force on 31 December 2010 and must be implemented by EU member states by 1 July 2012.
