In 2010 schoenherr’s real estate practice published a primer on real estate transactions in CEE. The primer offers an overview of the most important legal considerations related to real estate transactions in CEE and covers the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine. Each chapter contains for parts: acquisition & financing, construction, tenancy contracts and taxes & fees. Its purpose is to assist real estate investors in CEE by providing basic legal information for the first meeting with a lawyer or tax advisor.
