Main responsibilities of this position:

  • support our Bulgarian and international Banking & Finance team in the field of banking, finance, capital markets, restructuring and insolvency;
  • drafting financial agreements, security documents and legal opinions;
  • drafting corporate documents and registration/perfection of security interests; 
  • research and advice on regulatory matters for banks and other financial institutions;
  • contact with public authorities and bodies (including the Central Register of Special Pledges, the Registry Agency, the Central Depository, the Bulgarian National Bank and the Financial Supervision Commission).

 

Who we are looking for and what we expect:

  • master's degree in law with excellent results;
  • studies abroad and/or international LL.M. is an advantage;
  • one to two years of legal experience (preferably in banking and finance, particularly in drafting and registration of security documents with regard to international transactions) is an advantage;
  • proficiency in English (fluent written and spoken professional use);
  • desire to specialise in an exciting area of law;
  • responsibility and independence in carrying out the tasks entrusted to you;
  • excellent analytical and logical thinking skills, communication and writing abilities and a problem-solving attitude;
  • efficient work manner, ability to meet ambitious deadlines.
