Junior IP & IT Associate

Main responsibilities of this position:

• supporting our Bulgarian and international IP & IT team in matters related to intellectual property and information technology
• analysing existing Bulgarian and EU legislation and case law (legal research)
• drafting memos, contracts, applications, appeals and representing before relevant public authorities and courts
• contact with the relevant public authorities
• other ad-hoc tasks

Who we are looking for and what we expect:

• master’s degree in law (Bulgaria)
• having pursued studies abroad and/or holding an international LL.M. is an advantage
• 2+ years of legal experience or 1+ years of experience in the areas of practice listed below
• strong passion for IP & IT law
• prior experience in IP & IT matters (e.g. trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs, patents, software, information technology-related contexts) is an advantage
• interest in commercial law and administrative, commercial and white-collar crime litigation, along with prior relevant experience, is an additional advantage
• ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and to make sound judgments under tight deadlines with thoroughness and accuracy
• excellent analytical and logical thinking skills, communication and writing abilities, and a problem solving attitude
• efficient work style with the ability to meet ambitious deadlines
• proficiency in English (fluent written and spoken professional use)
• teamwork skills and a "can do" attitude
