JUVE, the premier German-language legal business publication, ranks Schoenherr as the leading law firm in Austria and recognises the firm's Corporate/M&A practice for being at the very apex of the country's transactional practitioners. In the newly-released 2015 edition of its annual 150-page handbook on corporate law firms in Austria, JUVE identifies Schoenherr as having generated the highest revenues among the country’s 15 largest law firms, thanks not least to Schoenherr's advisory role in a large selection of the headline transactions and restructurings during 2014/15.

JUVE also places Schoenherr by itself in the very top tier of its rankings for the 27 leading Corporate/M&A practices in Austria. According to the German publication, Schoenherr's transactional lawyers "appear to be leaving their competition behind them" in terms of the frequency and volume of the transactions they advise on. JUVE also highlights Schoenherr's ability to leverage the firm's expertise in the CEE region when advising on complex cross-border transactions. Schoenherr's track record in restructurings, particularly in the financial sector, its excellent competition law practice, and its top-level advice on corporate law matters are additional strengths JUVE identifies.

"Schoenherr's work is focused on ensuring that our clients receive top advice and achieve the results they desire. While client satisfaction is what really drives us, we are honoured to receive the distinctions and praise that JUVE has awarded us – after all, JUVE's rankings reflect the publication's extremely detailed research and are based on client feedback," said Schoenherr managing partner Christoph Lindinger.

The JUVE Handbuch, which was published on 23 September 2015, also identifies Schoenherr partners Martin Ebner (Banking and Finance), Peter Feyl (Banking and Finance), Christian Hauer (IP), Christian Herbst (Corporate/M&A), Sascha Hödl (Corporate/M&A), Guido Kucsko (IP), Michael Lagler (Real Estate), Peter Madl (Real Estate), and Hanno Wollmann (EU & Competition) as being “leading” practitioners in the six fields of practice surveyed in the publication.
