Responsibilities

  • Assisting the work of lawyers and associates
  • Preparing and filing submissions with courts and authorities
  • Handling electronic company registration procedures: preparing preliminary documentation, organising the transfer of administrative fees, compiling and filing submissions, receiving court orders
  • Formatting and editing documents and contracts
  • Preparing legal letters for audit
  • Liaising with notaries and translation agencies
  • Contacting courts, authorities and occasionally clients regarding specific matters
  • Preparing documentation related to client due diligence, verifying identification documents
  • Managing the firm's Cégkapu (official government electronic communication system), receiving and administrating official documents
  • Obtaining corporate documents, property sheets and other official public records
  • Managing virtual data rooms (uploading and downloading documents)
  • Performing administrative tasks (filing documents, saving electronically received documents, maintaining various registers)
  • Operating the firm's systems (DMS, Advokat) – opening and archiving files, recording services, document management
  • Scanning, copying, printing, binding
  • Transcribing from dictation (including in foreign languages)
  • Performing reception duties and substituting for the receptionist when necessary: answering calls, greeting guests, handling incoming and outgoing mail, registering invoices
  • Occasionally handling external errands (to translation agencies, notaries)
  • Assisting with office supply orders
  • Occasionally assisting with invoice preparation (downloading and correcting tables of services)

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Fluent in English (B2 or higher)
