Attorney at Law - Corporate M&A (m|f|x)

Schoenherr is looking for an experienced and dedicated lawyer to join our Corporate/M&A team in Belgrade.

As one of the leading law firms in Serbia, we provide innovative, business-oriented legal advice on complex national and cross-border matters. Our Belgrade office has a particularly strong reputation in M&A and corporate transactions, and we are now seeking to further bolster our team in these key practice areas.

Key responsibilities:

• working on high-profile M&A and corporate transactions for international and domestic clients;
• drafting and negotiating complex share purchase agreements and other corporate arrangements;
• coordinating due diligence processes and managing transaction timelines;
• assisting in negotiations and coordinating with counterparties, advisors and public authorities;
• advising clients on corporate governance and day-to-day commercial matters;
• supervising and supporting the professional development of junior associates.
  
  
  

What we are looking for:

• law degree and admission to the Bar in Serbia;
• three to five years of relevant professional experience in M&A and corporate law, preferably with exposure to cross-border transactions;
• solid understanding of corporate and commercial frameworks and transaction structuring;
• excellent legal drafting, negotiation and analytical skills;
• fluency in English (both written and spoken);
• ability to work independently and adaptability;
• team spirit, leadership potential and strong client-service orientation.
