Annual International Conference | Schoenherr CEE Compass | Warsaw, 16 May 2024

Schoenherr's CEE Compass is an exclusive, by invitation only event, that brings together experts from across Central and Eastern Europe for a full day conference focusing on the most pressing topics in law, business and society. 2024 marks the starting point of this annual compass, which shall contribute to shed light on what's ahead and opportunities going forward.

The inaugural edition of the Schoenherr CEE Compass will take place in Warsaw on 16 May 2024 focusing on "Going Green". Why? Because for there to be a sustainable future for everybody, this future will need to be green.

Making tangible progress towards this target requires a global effort. The deployment of renewables, a growing focus on energy efficiency, the reduction of overall energy consumption and ESG considerations are shaping policy and investment decisions. The legal landscape has quickly adapted to the needs arising from these developments, opening new fields of advisory and disclosing gaps that still must be filled.

With our 2024 edition of the CEE Compass, Schoenherr aims to take it further by transforming these considerations into concrete take-aways and actions. Together with highly regarded experts from various areas of green transitioning we will dive deep into the most important legal questions arising from "going green" and their impact on the CEE region.
