Amendment to the Czech Significant Market Power Act and its practical implications

The largely redrafted Czech Act on Significant Market Power ("ASMP") has been in effect since January 2023. While the original ASMP applied to only a handful of the largest Czech supermarkets, the new version covers hundreds of players across the goods supply chain. Besides this broader scope of application, the new ASMP also changes the substantive rules. Whether or not your company is already familiar with the ASMP, it could be a good time to discuss it with our legal experts and peers.
