Austria/CEE: Schoenherr advises GfK SE on EUR 315m sale of European Consumer Panel business (GfK CP) to YouGov PLC
Schoenherr alongside Jones Day (lead counsel for GfK) advised GfK SE on the EUR 315m sale of its European Consumer Panel business (GfK CP) to YouGov PLC. Closing is subject to regulatory clearances and is expected to occur in the second half of 2023.
GfK CP encompasses over 100,000 households with panels across 16 European countries collecting and providing data on shopping behaviour relating to fast-moving consumer goods.
YouGov PLC is an international market research and data analytics group headquartered in the United Kingdom and listed on the London Stock Exchange.
The Schoenherr team advising on the transaction was led by Maximilian Lang (partner) and further consisted of Zurab Simonishvili (attorney at law) and Teresa Waidmann (counsel; labour law aspects).
