Austria/CEE: Schoenherr advises ODDO BHF on expansion of strategic M&A partnership with Raiffeisen Bank International across Austria and CEE
Schoenherr advised ODDO BHF, a Paris-based financial services group, on the expansion of its partnership with Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), building on a successful collaboration in equities trading and research. The companies' partnership now extends to M&A advisory services in Austria, as well as across Central Eastern Europe.
Schoenherr provided comprehensive legal advice to ODDO BHF on all aspects of the transaction, which closed on 1 December 2025.
As part of the strategic partnership, RBI's M&A team transitioned to a newly established entity in Vienna in December 2025. This step enables ODDO BHF to not only broaden its geographic coverage in Europe but also deepen its sector expertise.
The expansion marks an important strategic milestone in ODDO BHF's ambition to become one of Europe's leading integrated corporate finance boutiques for family-owned businesses, while creating valuable synergies across the group and enhancing its offering of high-quality advisory solutions to clients.
