Schoenherr advised the Joint Lead Managers, Danske Bank, Erste Group, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Raiffeisen Bank International, UBS Investment Bank and UniCredit, on the successful issuance of EUR 500m 3.625 % Fixed-to-Floating Callable Green Preferred Senior Notes by VOLKSBANK WIEN AG.
Schoenherr advised the Joint Lead Managers, Danske Bank, Erste Group, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Raiffeisen Bank International, UBS Investment Bank and UniCredit, on the successful issuance of EUR 500m 3.625 % Fixed-to-Floating Callable Green Preferred Senior Notes by VOLKSBANK WIEN AG.
The notes were successfully issued under Austrian law on 9 September 2025 under VOLKSBANK WIEN's Debt Issuance Programme and placed with professional clients and eligible counterparties. The notes, rated A2 by Moody's, are due in September 2031 and have a denomination of EUR 100,000. They are listed on the Official Market (Amtlicher Handel) of the Vienna Stock Exchange.
VOLKSBANK WIEN intends to use an amount equal to the net proceeds from the issue of the notes, in whole or in part, to finance and/or refinance new or existing eligible green loans in accordance with VOLKSBANK WIEN's Sustainability Bond Framework dated January 2024, which demonstrate a clear environmental benefit.
