Austria: Schoenherr advises kabelplus on acquisition of Speed Connect Austria

The telecommunications company is a 100 % subsidiary of EVN AG and provides customers in Lower Austria and Burgenland with cable TV, internet, as well as landline and mobile phone services. In addition, kabelplus offers comprehensive business solutions for companies.

Speed Connect Austria GmbH builds and operates fibre optic networks in rural areas outside Austria's urban centres. The aim is to provide municipalities and small towns with fast, comprehensive, high-quality communication infrastructure, thereby promoting sustainable economic growth and social networking.
