Schoenherr advised the Joint Lead Managers on the successful issue of EUR 500 million 0.50 % Mortgage Covered Notes due 2041 by Raiffeisen-Landesbank Steiermark AG.

The notes were successfully issued under Austrian law on 27 May 2021 under Raiffeisen-Landesbank Steiermark AG's Notes Programme (Angebotsprogramm für Schuldverschreibungen) and placed with professional clients and eligible counterparties. The notes (ISIN AT000B093547) have a term of 20 years, mature in May 2041, and have a denomination of EUR 100,000 each. They are admitted to the Official Market (Amtlicher Handel) of the Vienna Stock Exchange.

The banking consortium comprised Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft (Germany), Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (France), DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale (Germany), Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (Germany) and Raiffeisenbank International AG (Austria), acting as Joint Lead Managers in connection with the placement of the notes.

"We are pleased that the Joint Lead Managers relied on our legal expertise for the issuance of the Mortgage Covered Notes by Raiffeisen-Landesbank Steiermark. We thank the Joint Lead Managers and the issuer for their trust. Congratulations to the issuer and all other parties involved on the successful completion of the transaction", says partner and co-head of Schoenherr's capital markets practice Christoph Moser.
