Christoph Moser returns to Schoenherr where he worked as an associate and lawyer between 2010 and 2012. He will further strengthen Schoenherr's renowned capital markets law practice, and together with Ursula Rath, equity partner at Schoenherr since 2014, they aim to position Schoenherr's capital markets practice at the pinnacle of capital markets advisors in the Austrian legal market.
"With Christoph Moser, we add an experienced capital markets law expert with a strong market presence, to our firm. A good part of his initial legal career began at Schoenherr, and I am particularly pleased that he is returning. With this new addition to our practice, we are also initiating a generational shift in Austrian capital markets law. Despite their comparatively young ages, both Ursula Rath and Christoph Moser are renowned experts in their fields. Combining their expertise at Schoenherr will strengthen our market position tremendously," said Michael Lagler, managing partner at Schoenherr.
"Schoenherr is well known for, among others, its key capital markets team in Austria. With Christoph Moser and his expertise, we can expand our competence in this segment of the market. I am very much looking forward to working with him," added Schoenherr partner Ursula Rath.
"Working at Schoenherr was an important starting point in my legal career. Since then I have been able to successfully position myself as a specialist in equity capital markets and debt capital markets. I look forward to being part of this outstanding law firm again and further expanding the capital markets practice together with Ursula Rath and the team," said Christoph Moser.
With Christoph Moser – born in Linz and having strong ties to the market – Schoenherr's Linz office will also benefit from his knowledge. Most recently, a recognised transaction specialist, Michael Magerl, became Office Managing Partner in the Linz office.
