Czech Republic: Schoenherr advises Lindab Group on acquisition of Ventilace EU a.s.'s Czech ventilation business

Schoenherr advised Lindab Group ("Lindab"), a leading European ventilation company, on the acquisition of the ventilation business of Ventilace EU a.s. ("Ventilace EU"), a top Czech HVAC manufacturer and wholesaler. The acquisition of Ventilace EU's ventilation business resulted from the previous successful collaboration between both companies. Ventilace EU's co-owner and managing director, Jiří Chvátal, will continue to run the business as part of Lindab.

Schoenherr Czech Republic's m&a team provided comprehensive transactional advice, including due diligence, deal structuring and negotiation of transaction documentation.

"We were thrilled to assist Lindab on this add-on acquisition in the Czech HVAC segment allowing us to deploy our extensive experience in this sector," said partner Vladimír Čížek.

Founded in 1959 in Sweden, Lindab is a leading ventilation company, offering solutions for energy-efficient ventilation and a healthy indoor climate in Europe. Lindab is established in about 20 countries, with more than 170 locations in Europe. The company has approximately 5,000 employees.

Ventilace EU a is a leading Czech HVAC manufacturer and wholesaler. The company targets turnkey deliveries of all components for ductworks and ductings in public places, office buildings, commercial centres and shopping malls.

The Schoenherr team advising on the transaction was led by Vladimír Čížek (partner) and Jiří Marek (attorney at law).
