18 March 2026, Bucharest
The second edition of the ICC Arbitration Breakfast in Romania will be held on 18 March 2026, providing an essential forum for professionals engaged in international dispute resolution.
Building on the success of the inaugural 2025 edition, this year’s programme will focus on two key areas of ICC arbitration practice. Discussions will address the constitution of arbitral tribunals and arbitrator selection under the ICC Rules, including confirmation and appointment processes, party autonomy and the role of the ICC Court. In addition, the event will explore provisional measures and interim relief, examining the interaction between arbitral tribunals, ICC emergency arbitrators and national courts, as well as issues of enforceability and strategic coordination across arbitral and judicial fora.
Featuring leading voices from Romania’s arbitration community, the event brings together experienced in-house counsel and practitioners to share strategic perspectives and practical insights drawn from complex international disputes.
The event series has been initiated and will be co-hosted by the current ICC Court members for Romania, Ioana Knoll-Tudor and Sebastian Guțiu, and offers participants the opportunity to connect with peers, leading experts and senior representatives of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. The ICC Arbitration Breakfast in Romania also provides valuable networking opportunities for professionals involved in international dispute resolution.
Private practice lawyers advising on international arbitration, arbitrators, mediators, business professionals, academics, general counsel and in-house legal teams from companies across various industries.
