Narcisa Oprea featured on "Academia de Guvernanță" on Prima News

Schoenherr partner Narcisa Oprea appeared on the third edition of "Academia de Guvernanță", a media project produced by Envisia Boards of Elite in cooperation with the Romanian media outlets Profit.ro and Prima News, to discuss Romania's path to OECD membership and its implications for corporate governance standards.

The episode, which aired on Prima News, brought together key stakeholders, including Adriana Lobdă (co-founder of Envisia), Luca Niculescu (Secretary of State in the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and coordinator of the OECD accession process) and Dumitru Chisăliță (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Romgaz), with Sebastian Zachmann serving as moderator.

Speaking from the perspective of the business environment, Narcisa Oprea emphasised that OECD principles are already visible in listed companies, where performance, transparency and clear communication are key indicators of healthy governance. She also highlighted that listing on the stock exchange represents a moment of maturity for companies, noting that healthy corporate governance is a critical element from an investors' perspective.
