Schoenherr advised mBank (as facility and security agent) and Bank Pekao S.A. on providing term and revolving financing to Elektromontaż Lublin sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of Polish investment company TDJ.
Elektromontaż Lublin is Poland's second-largest producer of transformer stations, with a history going back to 1953. The company delivers tailor-made solutions for clients' specific needs – from container transformer stations in concrete and metal enclosures, through medium- and low-voltage switchgears and cable connectors, to full turnkey projects including design, installation and servicing. In 2024 alone, the company supplied over 500 transformer stations to clients, including major distribution system operators, leading energy groups and industrial companies with their own power infrastructure.
TDJ is a Polish family-owned investment company with over 45 years of experience. Earlier this year, it acquired 100 % of Elektromontaż Lublin. TDJ sees strong potential in Poland's rapidly expanding power infrastructure market, driven by renewable energy integration and growing technical requirements, and actively supports its portfolio companies financially and operationally, drawing on its expert teams and business excellence model.
The Schoenherr team was led by Ilona Fedurek (partner) and further included Alicja Rojan (associate), Zuzanna Strus (junior associate) and Gabriela Chrzanowska (associate).
