Schoenherr advised mBank on the financing provided in connection with Enterprise Investors' acquisition of a 65 % stake in Art Wind sp. z o.o., a Poland-based provider of wind turbine installation and maintenance services across Europe.
Founded in 2019 by wind sector veteran Bartłomiej Bartsch-Rosiński, Art Wind specialises in the installation and servicing of wind turbines. The company delivers onshore wind projects across several European markets, with Germany currently accounting for the majority of its revenue. The investment will support Art Wind's continued growth and enable the company to scale its operations in response to the ongoing expansion of Europe's renewable energy sector.
The transaction marks Enterprise Investors' return to the renewable energy sector and builds on the firm's successful exits from Polish Energy Partners (now Polenergia) and Wento sp. z o.o.
