Serbia: Schoenherr advises Austrian Post on acquisition of D Express

The transaction, which is subject to all regulatory approvals (including competition clearance), will strengthen Austrian Post's presence in the Southeast European logistics market through the planned merger of D Express with its existing Serbian subsidiary, City Express, and underscore Serbia's growing importance as a strategic hub for parcel delivery and e-commerce fulfilment in the region.

Austrian Post, listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, provides postal and parcel delivery services, as well as logistics, banking and telecommunications in Austria. It is expanding its parcel and logistics business across Central and Southeast Europe.

D Express is a well-established parcel delivery service operating in Serbia, offering a comprehensive range of logistics and last-mile delivery solutions.
