Serbia: Schoenherr advises MK Group on signing of Dijamant acquisition agreement

Pursuant to the share purchase agreement, MK Group has agreed to acquire Dijamant. The transaction represents one of the most significant acquisitions in the agri-food sector in the Adria region.

Dijamant is a Serbian company engaged in the processing of sunflower seeds and the production of sunflower oil, operating one of the most technologically advanced production facilities in the industry in Zrenjanin, Serbia.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and other standard closing conditions.

The Schoenherr team is being led by Vojimir Kurtić (Partner) and Matija Vojnović (Partner), and further includes, inter alia, Bojan Rajić (Attorney at Law), Aleksa Bošnjović (Attorney at Law), Luka Milošević (Attorney at Law) and Marija Grujeska (Attorney at Law).
