M&A Dealmaking Workshop 2026
Schoenherr Zagreb office is organising its third season of its M&A Dealmaking Workshop.
The workshop is designed as a course for law school students in the fourth and fifth year of their studies. It will introduce students to mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and provide insight into how M&A transactions are structured, negotiated, and executed. The workshop should help students understand and explore the relations between law, business, and economics in M&A dealmaking. Additionally, it will shed light on the role of a transactional lawyer in this interplay.
Students will be expected to regularly attend weekly 120-minute sessions for 10 weeks in total and will have the opportunity to gain practical and theoretical insights into a variety of M&A topics. Session timings will be coordinated with selected students to accommodate their schedules. The sessions will take place at the Schoenherr Zagreb office (Prilaz Gjure Deželića 19).
Between classes, students will engage in practical assignments such as reviewing transactional documents and designing negotiation tactics, fostering active participation.
The sessions will be conducted in Croatian, with materials predominantly in English.

Krešimira Krušlin (LL.M. New York University School of Law), Vice Mandarić (LLM. Goethe-University) and Ivan Einwalter (Mag. iur., University of Zagreb) will hold the workshop.
