Kürzlich hat eine OGH-Entscheidung für erhebliches Aufsehen im Glücksspielbereich gesorgt: Es ging um die Frage, ob "Lootboxen", die im Rahmen einer Fußballsimulation erworben werden können, als Glücksspiel im rechtlichen Sinn zu qualifizieren sind. Spannend ist nun insbesondere, ob sich diese Einstufung auf ähnliche Spielmechaniken in anderen digitalen Angeboten übertragen lässt. Doch das ist nicht die einzige Entwicklung im Bereich Glücksspiel & Entertainment.
