Austria: Schoenherr named Austrian M&A Legal Adviser 2018 by Mergermarket

Our M&A team received the award at the European M&A Gala in London on 6 December 2018. At the ceremony, the organisers highlighted several prominent M&A transactions where Schoenherr acted as legal advisor. These included the take-over of German-Austrian residential real estate group BUWOG by German Vonovia, the largest public M&A transaction in Austria in 2017-18.

Prominent awards for leading M&A advisors

The Mergermarket European M&A Awards commend legal, financial, public relations, and accountancy advisors who have played leading roles in transactions in Europe over the past year. Firms are nominated for these awards based on Mergermarket league table analysis, and only the top firms by deal volume and value are selected. The winners are selected by a panel of judges consisting of board members from leading banks and investment firms, as well as prominent academics and lawyers.
