Poland: Schoenherr advises ProService Finteco on acquisition of AM Platform from Comarch

The transaction saw Comarch S.A. sell 100 % of the shares in AM Platform Sp. z o.o. to ProService Finteco, with the business carved out being Comarch Asset Management (CAM), a line covering the development, implementation and maintenance of proprietary software. The CAM system supports asset management and valuation processes for investment fund companies, universal pension fund companies, insurance undertakings, the Insurance Guarantee Fund and employee pension fund companies, as well as depositary functions, such as asset register maintenance, monitoring of fund flows and net asset value control. The deal value was not disclosed and continuity of service for existing clients was assured as part of the transaction. 

ProService Finteco, founded in 1994, has supported the financial sector in Poland for over 30 years, providing services and technology solutions for investment and pension funds, banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, and employs more than 800 specialists. The acquisition supports ProService Finteco's strategy of building the leading platform serving financial institutions in the region.
