Moravčević Vojnović and partners in cooperation with Schoenherr advised Eso Tron, a well-established Serbian operator in waste collection and processing, on the formation of a strategic joint venture with Avista Oil AG, a leading international player in the circular economy and sustainable resource management.
The joint venture aims to advance circular economy solutions and sustainable waste management across Serbia and the wider Adriatic and Western Balkans region. It combines Eso Tron's strong local presence with Avista Oil AG's international expertise and technical know-how, and will focus on expanding waste collection and processing operations, as well as investing in infrastructure and technology across the region.
Eso Tron, founded in 2011, specialises in the collection and recycling of organic waste and used cooking oil from various industries, retail networks and restaurant chains. The company actively participates in the development of environmental care, ensuring sustainability throughout the collection chain.
Avista Oil AG is a Germany-based company specialising in the collection and re-refining of used lubricating oils. It is recognised for its strong focus on sustainability and circular economy solutions, transforming waste oil into high-quality base oils for reuse in industrial applications.
