CEE: Schoenherr advises Mutares on the acquisition of Synthomer a.s.
A Schoenherr team lead by Alfred Amann (Partner) advised Mutares SE & Co. KGaA on its agreement to acquire Synthomer a.s. from Synthomer plc in a carve-out transaction. Signing took place on 19 June 2026, with closing of the transaction expected in the end of the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

Romania: Schoenherr advises Otokar on acquisition of Romanian defence company Automecanica
Schoenherr advised Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi AŞ on the acquisition of a majority stake in Romanian defence company Automecanica. The purchase price totals approximately EUR 85m. Through this acquisition, Otokar strengthens its presence in Romania.
