CEE/Bulgaria: Schoenherr advises RBI and UniCredit as lenders on project financing of Verila battery energy storage system
Schoenherr advised Raiffeisen Bank International AG and UniCredit Bulbank AD on the project financing for Verila Solar Park 2, owned and developed by 360 Energy, to develop, construct and operate a new battery energy storage system (BESS) in Bulgaria with a capacity of about 360 MWh, in Dupnitsa, Kyustendil District, Bulgaria. The BESS will operate alongside Bulgaria's largest solar power plant (124 MW PV), and will support grid flexibility, as well as increased renewables integration.

Bulgaria: Schoenherr advises on sale of majority stake in EuShipments.com AD to Austrian Post
Schoenherr advised the shareholders of EuShipments.com on the sale of a 70 % stake in the company to Austrian Post. Following the relevant regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, with Austrian Post having the option to acquire the remaining 30 % within the next four years.
