CEE: Schoenherr advises AMCO on cross-border sale of multi-jurisdictional NPL portfolio
Schoenherr advised AMCO - Asset Management Company SpA on the cross-border sale of a legacy portfolio of non-performing loans and leasing contracts (NPLs) originally acquired from Veneto Banca, spanning exposures across Romania, Moldova, Albania and Croatia, to Valori Capital. The portfolio dates back to the compulsory liquidation of Veneto Banca in 2017, after which AMCO stepped in to manage and recover the bank's residual non-performing exposures.
